Spotifyが選ぶ「ストリーミング時代の偉大なポップソング100選」を発表——1位はOlivia Rodrigoの「drivers license」

Spotifyが、2015年以降のストリーミング時代を象徴するポップソング100曲を選出した「ストリーミング時代の偉大なポップソング100選」を発表した。Spotifyの編集者チームが文化的影響力、音楽性、アーティストのストーリーテリングなど質的な基準に基づいて選出したもので、チャートの成績やストリーミング再生回数の多さは必須条件とされていない。

1位に輝いたのはOlivia Rodrigo（オリヴィア・ロドリゴ）の「drivers license」。2021年1月のリリース直後にSpotifyの1日あたりの最多ストリーミング再生回数記録を更新し、ストリーミング時代のポップスターの新たな青写真を描いた楽曲だ。2位はChappell Roan（チャペル・ローン）の「Pink Pony Club」、3位はTaylor Swift（テイラー・スウィフト）の「Cruel Summer」が続く。
